Statistics

Aggregate counters tell us which pages get used. We keep the totals, never the individual visits.

Search terms are stored only in aggregate: the phrase itself and a counter, nothing else. They tell us what people expect to find here, and are never tied to a person, an IP address or a session.

Visitor counts are approximations. They are produced by hashing a secret that is replaced daily together with a shortened form of your IP address and your browser string; the result feeds a statistical counter and is immediately dropped.

Only a shortened form of your IP address is ever used, and even that is not retained after the count is made.

Advertising and external services

Where adverts appear, they come from external networks with their own policies. We pass them no personal information, and the referrer header is suppressed site-wide.

Video and images are delivered from infrastructure we run. You will not find an external analytics tag, a tag manager, or a social sharing widget on any page.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data and no accounts, there is nothing to export or delete on request. If you believe otherwise, write to [email protected] and we will look into it.

No cookies

No cookie is set by xxxvelvet.com, nothing is placed in local storage, and your browser is not asked to remember anything about you.

Because nothing is stored on your device, there is no consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.

Why you cannot be tracked across our sites

Every site folds its own identifier into the calculation, so a visit here and a visit to another of our sites yield values that have nothing in common. There is no key that would join them, on our side or anyone else's.

Yesterday's secret no longer exists, so yesterday's measurements cannot be aligned with today's.
